Albert Einstein once said, "It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge." I want to show my students a world of learning through artistic expression. I want to provide an environment full of tools and resources that will let their imaginations soar.
My students are creative, clever, and intelligent.
We are a school in a middle class neighborhood. We do not get any extra funding like Title I schools, so any extra resources and materials needed to enrich our curriculum come out of the teacher's pocket. I want my students to have access to technology and creative tools and devices to enhance their learning and help them succeed.
My Project
My students will use these resources each and everyday in our class. The color printer is a wonderful resource that will help integrate technology into our projects. The printer ink will help students create amazing projects in our classroom. The photo printer will make it easy for students to print quick photos from our iPads and add them to their projects. The label maker will enable students to add that extra bit of flair to their amazing creations.
I feel like the sky is the limit when it comes to learning when you are a child.
As a teacher, it is my job to provide all necessary tools to help my students achieve success and become positive contributors to society as they grow into adults. My students will be more engaged in reading, math, science, social studies and more with the help of these resources in our classroom.
