Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds with over 95% of our students receiving free lunch.
Students in my classroom come from culturally diverse homes as well as diverse academic backgrounds.
My students are the future of the world and need my support!
They are constantly growing and learning. Students in my classroom learn to become lifelong learners. They are our future doctors, lawyers, teachers, and more! It is my job to give them the best education they can to be successful in their future.
My Project
Our project will ensure that students have access to materials in the classroom that will encourage hands-on learning.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement through hands-on learning.
Students will be able to use whiteboards to interact with lessons on the rug. This keeps them engaged and allows me as the teacher to gauge what they are comprehending during my lesson.
Students have the ability to go to centers during various parts of the day. The centers are organized on cardstock colored paper to ensure they last and stand out. It is important to have centers so that students can learn in different ways other than just writing their answer on a piece of paper.
