Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As stated by Maya Angelou, “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” This embroidery machine will continue to enhance the creative environment that I strive to create. My classroom is a safe place where my students can explore and let their creativity flow.
“Creativity is Intelligence having fun” – Albert Einstein.
My class population is composed of diverse learning styles and multiple intelligence. With the embroidery machine, students will be able to work on developing or enhancing multiple intelligences such as planning (logical-mathematical), designing and making a product (bodily- kinesthetic) they can offer their peers or in the community (interpersonal intelligence). With the use of the embroidery machine, students will not only enhance their creativity and multiple intelligences, they will also work on financial literacy and job skills by creating and selling products in our school community.
