Our school is a highly impacted Title I school. We have wonderful students who are excited about learning. They come from many diverse situations, and our school is a place where they feel safe, happy, and successful. I love my students. I expect greatness from them, and they do great things every day. They are so capable and teachable. I want to provide every opportunity for them to be successful. I want them to love coming to school each day.
Learning is fun, and I want to provide every opportunity to my students to learn to love school and to love themselves.
My Project
New paint supplies will bring lots of creativity to our little class while helping me build courage! Painting with first graders is not for sissies!
The students in our class oftentimes don't have the luxury of art in their homes.
I would love to provide them with creative, fun art projects to go with our day-to-day curriculum. The fun paint tools will help them learn new skills and solidify the ones they already have! Art enriches the mind and makes learning fun. School should be a place where we can learn new skills and have fun at the same time!
