Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are 20 of the sweetest, hard-working, curious pre-kindergarten children you will ever meet. This year, I have 10 boys and 10 girls. They all have the sweetest smiles and the biggest dreams. We are a Title I school that prides itself on making sure that each and every one of our students know they can succeed. All of our children are eligible to participate in the free lunch and breakfast programs. My students are kindhearted and are determined to do their very best every single day.
My Project
Our Creativity Station is need of a re-stock! It is our most popular station and our supplies are dwindling! The students really like to use tape. They like all kinds of tape and it is great for building fine motor skills. They even make jewelry out of tape! So I am requesting colored masking tape and double sided tape. I am amazed by their creativity! I am also requesting other fun craft items such as glitter markers, scrapbook paper and craft sticks. The crib sheet will be used to cover the table to keep our table safe from all the fun stuff we use at the Creativity Center.
