This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing! They come from a variety of backgrounds and many have struggles at home that can effect their school work. I have found that working together through collaboration and a sense of community, these students have not just grown but thrive as scholars. Now I am looking for a way to more effectively engage my students. I want to provide them with technology that will let them project their projects and present to others their thought processes and critical thinking skills.

My Project

Motivating students to do their best can sometimes be difficult. So how do I engage them? Giving them the chance to present to their class, several classes, or the school! They want to do their best when they know they are presenting to others. This is why I’m requesting a wireless projector to take their presentations to the big screen!! This allows their creativity to shine as they attempt to come up with the very best way to capture their audiences attention. I’ve watched students brainstorm and work collaboratively to excel in this are. The pride they take in their projects is amazing!
