My students need an art drying rack to store multiple pieces of artwork that need time to air dry.

My Students

Do know what it is like to create a beautiful painting but have no where to put it so that it can dry? That is something my students and I go through when we get create art in the classroom.

I teach kindergarten in Oklahoma.

My students are fun and active five and six year old's. We are an A+ school meaning that we integrate the arts throughout our curriculum. Our school is also a Title 1 school and about 49% of our students receive free or reduced lunch. My students are creative and love working with different mediums to create art!

My Project

Instead of crowding drawing tables and counter space with finished art work, this art storage rack will come in handy when we need to hold paintings or artwork to air dry. It is a convenient tool that will allow me to store artwork so that it does not become damaged and creates table space which can be used for learning while our art dries. An art drying rack will also allow my students to do multiple art projects at a time during whole group or during independent center time instead of limiting them to the amount of counter space we might have.

Having an art drying rack is a handy piece of equipment that will allow more opportunity for us to be creative and organized.
