My Students
A person once said "Teaching is the one profession that creates all other professions." I want to teach my student to be thinkers and creators!
I have a group of 20 spunky, kindergarten ESL (English as a Second Language) students. We come from a small city in Texas. Our school is made up of over 75% low-socioeconomic students. My students are hungry for learning and look forward to coming to school each and every day.
My Project
Our classroom is in need of craft materials such as craft sticks, crowns, and watercolor paint to build creativity. We also need math games such as counting keys, cookie jar counting and math trays to foster students independent learning in stations.
With the use of these materials and teaching tools, my students will be able to enhance their creativity and learning through play. They will be able to learn at a quicker pace by have a variety of hands-on materials and manipulatives readily available to them.
This classroom project was brought to life by an anonymous donor
