My Students

My students are creative, enthusiastic, and expressive about art! They all have their unique styles in art making. I want to provide as much as I can to get my students exploring their full creative minds.

They enjoy showing off what they can create in art class to their teachers, administration, and families.

I truly get to see that they have taken time for themselves to express something they enjoy. I want my students to see all the different things that art brings to the world. Having access to new art techniques will only benefit them for the future.

My Project

Students have built 3D houses out of paper bags and our 6th

grade students build a tiny houses out of paper, while finding the dimensions of furniture pieces.

The Iggy Peck Architecture workbook will help the students to think creatively like an architect. The original story is one I already love reading to the students.

The books and magazines I have picked will help increase the students terminology and history in art! Being able to read children stories will reach the students in a fun, exciting way. Having these resources will help these art lessons come to life and students will be proud to show off!
