My Students

If I could only use two words to describe my students, it would be determined and diverse! They are 9th, 11th, and 12th graders from different countries and in their homes, English is their second language. Most of my students receive free or reduced-price lunches and will be the first ones in their families to graduate from high school.

They understand how important their education is and want to be better prepared for college.

To do this, they have elected to take rigorous classes even though it can be challenging at times.

They are truly an amazing group of young adults that have overcome many obstacles.

My Project

I would love to have a Cricut machine and supplies in the classroom. It would be extremely beneficial for the students and me. Students would be able to design, cut out, and display visuals of what we are learning in class. This project would also be helpful for me. I can make labels for tubs to help with organization. I could create magnets to display on the board to help explain information.

I could design and create bulletin boards and create classroom decorations.

The possibilities are endless with a Cricut machine!
