Creativity, Fine Motor Skills, and Sight Word Practice!
My students need perler beads, sand, and supplies to go along with these activities to help with their fine motor skills.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our school is made up a variety of families from different neighboorhoods, educational backgrounds, and economic groups. One of the many things we all have in comon is a love and deisre for these children and our desire to have them all be successful.
We have 50 kind 5 and 6 year olds who are practicing reading and writing sight words to be better readers.
The more words they are able to read and write the better readers and writers they be.
My Project
I am requesting perler beads, trays for the beads, kinetic sand, and other toys to manipulate the sand. Some of my students do not have the fine motor skills necessary for writing and these supplies will help them improve their skills.
These supplies will help students practice their fine motor skills and also help them practice sightwords, which will increase their reading and writing.
By taking the sand and perler beads and making sight words they will have to focus on the formation of the letters as well as how to spell the words. All the while, they will be producing something fun and using creativity!
