My Students

We all want to be comfortable and feel safe in a place that we spend the majority of our day. My students all come from inner city diverse backgrounds and we love finding something that can bring us all together as one and we all can understand and be involved in.

I love building relationships with my kids and providing them with a comfort zone when they come to school every day.

Our main focus at our school is to ensure we provide a safe place to try and make school a positive place that excites our kids to attend every day!

My Project

Please consider donating these arts and crafts supplies to my class to make our learning more hands-on. I am asking for items such as chart paper, markers, colored pencils and erasers for students to use to show me what they are thinking and feeling.

Studies have shown that allowing students to express themselves boost their confidence and allows us as teachers to get to know the students better.

Many of my students are quiet or not comfortable talking to an adult but love to draw and create. This allows me to look at their art and discuss their interests in order to form a bond with them.
