My Students

My students are well rounded children who have a passion for history. They are middle school age and my classes are always eager to learn about the history from where they come from and the history of how American Became the wonderful country it is! We have 2,000 students and I am one of only 4 other 8th grade history teachers. As the 8th grade history teacher I am always thriving to find creative and fun ways to engage my students.

My Project

My school has an amazing Student Government program, but we struggle with finances. I have a group of 45 eager middle school kids who enjoy helping the community. We would like to be able to make shirts and other items for our fundraisers. Each batch of shirts costs us over 600 dollars for the amount of students we have! By having a Cricut Machine, we will cut the amount of money it costs to make these shirts and other items items in half. We will be able to afford the supplies to make these items and will be able to finally represent our school as one!
