Creativity and Critical Thinking Through Art and Coding
Help me give my students the opportunity to learn how to code using an Ozobot. I would also like to allow my students to learn how to create 3D objects with a printing pen. Any bit helps.
My students are creative, thoughtful, and inspired by various hands-on activities. They are very motivated inside and outside of the classroom. We enjoy working together to come up with answers that include each and every single one of the students. My students have built a sense of trust among one another to form a community within our classroom. My students enjoy coming to school each day with a fresh and open mind that is ready to learn and try new things!
My Project
First off, by purchasing an Ozobot I can allow my students to learn more about coding. My students can learn how multiple colors and patterns can tell the Ozobot what to do and how to do it. I want my students to be able to learn more STEAM based activities within my classroom and I think this is a great way to accomplish it.
Who doesn't love STEAM?
Secondly, I want to be able to teach my students how to create art using a 3D pen. This pen will allow my students to create objects by simply drawing them how they imagine. This will allow for more creativity within the classroom.
Lastly, I would like to purchase a document projector. This scanner will allow me to project images onto a board so my students can see exactly what I am looking at. I think this will allow me to better assist my students in whole group activities.
