My Students

My high school students are curious, inquisitive, and creative, and they need the tools and resources to explore and create. We study US History, Human Rights and Genocide, College Credit Psychology and College Credit Sociology, and we need art supplies to help us express our learning. We use maps, diagrams, and art to express our learning in class, and having more art supplies that are well organized will help us use our class time more efficiently to express our creativity and learning.

My Project

Having organized art supplies readily available for students will help them create different projects that demonstrates their learning. Being able to express their learning in a variety of ways will appeal to many who are not fond of always writing to prove their understanding of the concept.

We also use maps frequently and having the ability to color code regions and areas helps students learn the geography and Geo-political relationships in the region of study.

Color coding can also help with note taking skills, as they can create sketch notes in their own ways that helps reflect how their brain learns.
