I have an amazing group of 4th graders who would benefit tremendously from an interactive flexible seating classroom. Our portable classroom is small, and our energy is big! My students thrive when feeling empowered with choice, as well as when they are given the ability to move and learn from one another.
My 4th graders are curious, motivated, social, and always looking for opportunities to extend their thinking by problem solving and collaborating.
My students come from diverse academic, social, and cultural backgrounds in a year round public school. They are an incredible group of who are always excited to learn!
My Project
My students are very enthusiastic and need tools that will provide them the opportunity to explore their learning process in an exciting, creative, and interactive way. This project will allow my students to receive immediate feedback about their performance with their struggles and triumphs. Immediate feedback is essential for academic development so they can reflect back instantaneously and immediately assess where to go next with their own individual learning.
The Yacker Tracker will allow my students to self-regulate their conversations and collaborate in an efficient and respectful manner.
This will build great team work and build strong student work teams for the entire school year.
The Plicker Cards and the dry erase paddles will give my students immediate feedback on their ability to answer review and current content questions or problems. It will allow them to see visually gather information on their performance so I know as their teacher who to enrich or remediate immediately.
