This is my second year teaching kindergarten, and I love it! . I teach in a county school in North Alabama. I love my community and the support it gives.
My kindergarten students are fun and energetic.
I hope to be able to provide my students with more manipulatives to enhance their learning opportunities! I want my students to be creative and use their imagination. They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions!
My Project
I strive to make my classroom a fun learning experience for all. I have so many ideas for these manipulitives I am requesting for my classroom. Students will be using these items multiple times everyday. Students will utilize these materials during whole group and small group instruction to learn new skills being taught. They will also be used in STEM Bins and Morning Tubs.
Students will build on their critical thinking and problem solving skills.
These manipulatives will engage students in hands on learning. K'nex and Magna-Tiles let students use their imagination to build objects.
Having the proper resources to work will allow students to have a fun hands-on learning experience. Most of all it makes learning more enjoyable for all learners.
