They are very hardworking and want nothing more to be successful young learners. They are energetic and have a strong desire to learn. We are a rural school in a small community. Our school has approximately 300 students.
My Project
My students are in need of a new listening station to listen to stories. This will help expand their imagination, creativity and comprehension skills. They can relax and listen to stories supplied in our classroom library or stories that they record on their own.
We are also in need of student offices.
This will create a tranquil and private place to story write and allow their creative juices to flow. With student offices, the pressure will be taken off the student and they can work at a pace that they feel is desirable to themselves.
Flexible seating would be an awesome addition to our classroom. Not one student learns the same way or even at the same pace. This would give the students a major advantage when it comes to expanding learning opportunities.
