My Project

Our teachers are beginning to book collaborative instructional time with the school librarian and instructional technology specialist in our Innovation Station, and students are beginning to explore the space independently. Students have expressed high interest in hand-made crafts like origami and beading, while teachers are interested in creating eye-catching displays with our Cricut machine. We have a plentiful supply of maker and STEAM books in our curriculum to help us plan how these activities can support learning, but we need supplies!

As our maker space activities kick off and we have taken stock of the supplies that capture student and staff interests, we have identified beads, washi tape, origami paper, and Cricut tools and supplies as critical needs to support the learning planned!
