Help me give my students a creation station to develop the next generation of leaders with a LED monitor, computer desk, desk chair, wireless keyboard, and mouse.
Tradition is at the foundation of every school across the nation. It builds community within our building, gives students a sense of belonging to something greater, and creates unity. Our Student Government Program is at the center of school tradition. Each year the student leaders adapt, modify, modernize and build our school traditions. It's never the same execution, but always the same mindset and purpose-- Celebrating all students and enjoying the high school experience.
Our Historian Assembly, created to showcase the experiences worth remembering, is a pinnacle of our school's events.
Yet, our Historian has constantly struggled to have a workspace. This student takes beautiful photos, creates cinematic experiences, and documents the best pieces of our school. Having a creative station to work would elevate their products ten-fold. The creative station would include a work desk, LED Monitor large enough for video editing and photo compilation software, and a wireless keyboard and mouse. The components of the station would provide technological advancements from the current set-up of an 11" Chromebook. Given our unique school demographics, our Historian is often a student that lacks videographer resources at home. They rely on the materials we provide to build projects. This project would give them a dedicated space, within a classroom, to exponentially improve their quality and skills.
