My Students

I have a classroom full of vibrant, energetic first graders. We are located in a rural area, so they have become quite a community! They love working together and learning together. My students are excited when they learn new things.

My students are creative, passionate, and exuberant.

They are learning to be thinkers, problem solvers, and risk takers. They are learning how to be independent and how to work cooperatively. It is a joy watching them bloom and grow as they learn about reading, writing, math, and more!

My Project

My students need exciting, creative items to use during indoor recess. Since we aren't able to share our materials, they need a personal recess kit. With having their own creative dough, they can work on their fine motor skills while expressing their creativity. They can also do this while working with the Lego bricks!

Social distancing guidelines don't need to stifle their creative spirits!

They can use their imaginations to create whatever their little hearts desire during the cold months and bad weather when we're stuck inside during recess. They love to create play food, monsters, and more when they have the chance to get creative!

They can also use them as manipulatives in math and science!
