Every morning they greet me at my door, shake my hand, and tell me, "Good Morning!" Once a group of them have gathered, EVERY morning they sing "Baby Shark" as a morning ritual of theirs.
My students are unique, creative thinkers.
They move at a fast pace, and their thirst for knowledge is unquenchable and without limits. They have fun, and love coming to class. Most of all they enjoy their independent reading time! They say it gives them the chance to read what they want, to get their brains started on focusing, and like having the time to themselves.
They are the epitome of a positive classroom, and certainly give me a reason every morning to wake up and get at it! My students are certainly vocal and expressive, not being afraid to really think "outside the box." Whether in our (most times, lengthy) discussions either about books or TED Talks, these kids understand and NEED to learn.
My Project
All tools are important in one's learning. Unfortunately, in a school setting, so many tools are located in the classroom, and are unable to leave the area.
With this requested Lenovo 2-to-1 laptop, students will be able to get out of the classroom with the appropriate tool, whether it be research on local environments, or demonstrating to fellow students their ideas.
Creative students require a creative tool for creative learning. This laptop will be used for coding/programming, art design, video recording and editing, research, documentation, and presentations.
There is no limit to what this tool could help us with, and we appreciate any and all donations.
