My Students
Over half of our students come from low-income families. My students are always eager to learn new things, especially when it's hands on.
It is important to keep my students interested and engaged in new learning opportunities!
My students come to the media center for 35 minute special classes each week.
This year students will have the opportunity to use new hands-on technology and STEM activities when they come to my Media Center.
My Project
With these supplies, students will be able to use their creative minds and engineering skills to create their own projects. We added a Makerspace to our school's Media Center this year. One of the stations our students can participate in is the "Create- It Station"! In this area, students are allowed to create various things with their hands! With over 800 students using this area, you can imagine how quickly we run out of supplies! Students love the "Create-It Station" because the projects are self-driven and they are able to create whatever comes to their minds!
