My Project

I believe young students need to learn through a variety of different ways. One way is through play and hands-on materials. My classroom has a center time every day where the students explore the classroom and all the different curricular areas. I want to create a place in my classroom to enhance the students imagination and creativity. A place where the students can go to make up stories and pretend to be whatever their imagination leads them to.

By using their imagination in a fun way, the students will be able to take that knowledge into their reading and writing.

I am requesting a variety of art supplies such as construction paper, pom poms, googly eyes, paper bags, stickers, paint dotters and paint sponges to help my students build their imagination skills and have lots of fun. These creative art supplies can be used to promote creativity, collaboration and build imagination.
