Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
We are just starting the school year, so I am getting to know all of my little munchkins. I have 30 of them so it's quite a room full. Lots of energy! Lots of "new" things!
So far, they've been lively, inquisitive, and very eager to explore!
My classroom is set up to allow student movement and discovery. So, they're learning how to navigate the room and are exploring new centers and games as they do. I am always looking to make activities applicable to the real world, encouraging investigation.
All of my students are multi-lingual and receive free or reduced lunch. I am working on increasing parent involvement to encourage a love for learning both in class and at home.

My Project
Kindergarten students LOVE to be creative, we just don't have the materials to do so!
We are reaching out to you to request classroom materials we can use during Math Centers, Writer's Workshop and Art Centers.
This year, we started off the year with limited supplies, no colored paper, no glue sticks, no colored markers, no Jumbo pencils for Kinders still gaining strength within their little fingers...you get the picture! With your donation towards these materials, we will be comparing colored graphs, illustrating writing stories, and crafting!
Every student deserves to be creative, no matter where they live or what school they go to!
