My students are inquisitive, creative, and highly motivated to take on new challenges.
I provide enrichment and gifted support to students in kindergarten through fifth grade. These students are learning above grade level content and skills that will help them to reach their full potential. I would like to give them the opportunity to access technology in the classroom to ensure they have the skills needed to be successful in today's world.
My Project
Having Chromebooks in the classroom will help my high-achieving students to have the opportunity to access technology in new and exciting ways. My gifted and talented learners love engaging in STEM activities - Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. By adding Chromebooks to the classroom, the STEM opportunities are limitless!
My students will have the opportunity to experiment with robotics, coding, stop motion animation, and other exciting STEM learning opportunities with these Chromebooks.
They will also be able to produce documents and engage in educational apps that promote STEM and higher-order learning. These are exactly the types of learning experiences I want to provide for these highly motivated students.
Since I have the opportunity to teach students in kindergarten through fifth grade, these Chromebooks will reach learners of all ages. I will be able to specifically target the needs of each group of learners, ensuring that even my youngest learners are introduced to the highly engaging world of STEM learning. My goal is to help each student reach his or her potential, and I believe that adding technology to my classroom will help provide learning opportunities that have not been available to them before.
