I am a veteran teacher of twenty-two, bright and amazing students. They come from all different walks of life, but we make our classroom one of acceptance, with high expectations for learning and success in life.
All of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
Within our community is a Native American Reservation. We also service many Hispanic students. Having culturally diverse students is what makes our school so great! We all work together to provide the best education that we can.
My Project
We are running a new reading intervention that is going to be amazing! But in these interventions we are going to be pushing students to their highest potential. This is going to be difficult and so I feel that I need to come up with some creative ways to make this hard work fun!
I am asking for Boogie Boards.
These amazing tablets make education fun! They create art with learning, and who doesn't love that! It also comes with these amazing learning pages that will help my students practice new words, digraphs, diphthongs, and much more! I am asking for totes to store the Boogie Boards.
I am also asking for chalk markers and expo markers that they can use to really create some words in amazingly bold colors! And last we are trying to turn our iPads into mini laptops with these cases that will allow them to type sentences, paragraphs, or simply words.
