Help me give my students a printer and ink, heat press and supplies so that they can create sublimation designs and then press the design onto their very own t-shirts.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students walk into my gifted classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. It's so exciting for them, as well as me, to watch them conquer a challenge and get super excited about new topics they aren't so sure about. For many of them, it is their favorite part of the school day.
I teach at a Title I school in Mississippi, where all students receive free breakfast, and 75-80 percent of our students receive free or reduced price lunch.
My students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can. They are like little sponges soaking up more information than I could ever imagine.
My Project
Our gifted students are always learning and growing in so many different ways! Some of them love dinosaurs, others love all things art. We are requesting a printer and ink, heat press and supplies so that they can create sublimation designs and then press the design onto their very own t-shirts.
To enhance our creativity process skill we are wanting to help our students learn how to be creative entrepreneurs.
In order to do this, we would like to teach the students how to create their own t-shirt design, print it out, and then press it on to an actual shirt that can be worn. Along with the creative aspect of the project, we want to teach the students how to market their design in order to become little business boys and girls.
