My Students

Our school has around 161 third graders! They love to learn new skills, expand their knowledge, read new books, and take daily adventures. They are very active and love to be on the move.

Our school is in a small, rural town in Tennessee.

My school currently enrolls just under 1,000 students from pre-K to fourth grade. The majority of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch. Many of our students come to school to take daily adventures and to expand their knowledge.

My Project

The Creative Discovery Museum is a local museum that offers outreach programs for students of all ages. They bring hands-on learning centers and tasks for students to complete while learning skills and standards they will need to know for their state test.

This year, the Creative Discovery Museum will be bringing their Magnetic Forces program to our school.

Our students who participated in this program last year had a blast and learned so much more than what the teachers could have taught in the classroom. We are asking for donations to help pay for this experience for our 161 third graders.
