Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are an amazing set of business professional students who come from an economically disadvantaged background. In my classroom, they undergo training and instruction in preparation for real world meaningful experiences. They engage in hands-on training in the workforce that will help shape their future. Many of my students join this program to support their families financially. They are a bright, loving, and fun group. They absolutely love being creative and engaging in school activities that will help the the school and their organization. Lastly, our classroom participates in many community service projects to enhance their love and understanding for the community around them.
My Project
The Cricut maker will allow my students to help to create amazing art projects and visualizations, bulletin boards, crafts, and individual gifts for our classroom, community, and business partners. There are endless possibilities to what the students can use it for. Such as: decals and stickers, t-shirts, scrap booking items, gift tags, etch glass, make pillows, wood signs, and hundreds more.
Having the maker can help with display and advertising community service projects for their organization/club which my students are a part of as will as beautiful master pieces for their classrooms, our hallways, practically everywhere in the school, and even outdoors.
