Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This year my students are beginning their first year of formal education. Many will spend up to 9 hours in our classroom and school environment.

Our youngest scholars come together from various social, ethnic and economic backgrounds to our Visual and Performing Arts Magnet school, eager to learn academically and socially.

They are full of curiosity, energy and enthusiasm about the world around them and it is my goal to provide them the best learning experience in which to explore.

My Project

What are the colors of the rainbow? Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple. Basic art knowledge every Kinder student needs to know. Of course.

Through the use of these interlocking, safe and hygienic mats, my students will be guided through experiential educational experiences connecting their physical position to explore dance, drama, math, and excel in academics in a well managed environment.

My students at our Visual and Performing Arts Magnet will see the importance of color modeled immediately upon entering their first formal learning environment.

Their physical needs as young children will be met by using flooring that can be kept clean, comfortable and sanitary through all of Kindergartens up and downs.
