My Students

My students are incredibly gifted, kind, diverse, and have lots of questions! They strive off of hands-on activities that allow them to move around the classroom. We incorporate tons of learning strategies in the classroom for the students to conceptually understand the lesson. They come to school with a great attitude to crush any obstacle that comes their way.

My students thrive in environments that are comfortable and flexible.

That is why I believe flexible seating is the best tool for them to be successful in the classroom.

My Project

Most of my students come from low income households. They do not have the money to go out and buy classroom supplies. That is why the Expo dry erase markers will make a big impact. I will no longer have to ask them to borrow from a classmate because they will have their own. The Post-it easel pads will be used for classroom anchor charts and student project work.

We need to make our library a special place for the students to channel their creativity.

That is why the comfy saucer chair will add a little pizzazz to our library. An electric pencil sharpener is a definite need. The ones we have at our school break within the week and the students take forever to use the hand held sharpeners.
