My students are part of the Great Start Readiness Program. GSRP is a program for 4-year-old preschoolers that have factors which may place them at risk of educational failure. They come to school each day eager to learn and interact with others.
We strive to give our 16 students and their families the most positive first impression of a classroom as possible.
A big part of that is giving our students the most engaging environment that we can. Our students are much more engaged in learning if they are in a friendly and inviting classroom.
My Project
We need to revamp our large group area. The Play & Learn Nature Activity Carpet will help us make the area more engaging. Having a carpet that is more natural in color and design will help children stay calm and focused on learning.
A good carpet is an essential part of a high-quality preschool classroom.
They help make the classroom feel warmer and inviting. The carpet will be a multi-functional asset to our classroom. Not only will we gather there for large group activities, but children will gather on it to build and create in the Block Area.
Our current carpet is almost 10 years olds and very well-loved. We would love to finish making our classroom feel like home. The Play & Learn Nature Activity Carpet would help us make our classroom feel complete.
