Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are very bright and are very eager to learn new things every day. I love seeing lightbulbs going off in their heads when they get what they're learning. They are very creative, have active imagination, and very bright.
I work at a Title I school in Indiana where 100% of the students get free breakfast and lunch.
My students are in preschool and are Deaf/Hard of Hearing. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.
My Project
My project is all about the art supplies. The stamp pads and the letters/numbers/shapes stampers will help my students learn the letters (in both uppercase and lowercase), numbers, and the basic shapes along with learning colors they use from the stamp pads. The paint and paintbrushes will replace the old paint and paintbrushes, and will help my students to become better painters. The art/craft supplies will help my students make fun and creative art to display around the classroom!
These art materials will help my students to become the successful artists I know they can be!
My students love making crafty items in the classroom because it help them to learn, whether it is learning colors, letters, numbers, and even shapes! They are always ready for art time in our classroom daily!
