My eighteen pre-kindergarten students are the most amazing little boys and girls in the world! I have the awesome privilege to teach ten boys and eight girls who come to school each day, bright-eyed and ready to learn. These students are so smart and eager to learn despite the socio-economic challenges they face everyday.
These adorable pre-k children come from a rural area with a high poverty rate, but they refuse to let this be a barrier to their future success.
They come in each morning with many questions about what information we will be learning and how we will be learning it. They see the sky as the limit to their learning and I refuse to let anything hinder this positive outlook.
My Project
My students are so creative and love our art center. However, our canvas materials and cardstock pages run out very quickly. Because these items are more expensive than regular copy paper and construction paper, I am only financially able to provide a limited amount of these supplies.
With your generous donation, my students will be allowed the opportunity to create wonderful masterpieces in art center each day.
They will also be able to print and copy various projects that they create using our laptop and printer when this fully funded project provides color and black ink cartridges for them. I can't wait to see how many future artists we have in our classroom!
