My students are full of energy and love coming to school every day. My school is a Title I school which means many students come from families who do not have the resources and background to support learning outside the classroom. Many parents are working multiple jobs and are not able to spend the quality time at home with their families they would like. My students come needing social, physical, and emotional skills taught to them, in addition to the academics of reading, writing, and math.
Please help me to provide meaningful and engaging learning experiences for my energetic students.
My Project
These supplies will help my students be creative and allow them to express themselves in various forms. The crayons will be used daily during literacy centers as the students focus their attention on the phonics skills practiced each week. They participate in a weekly art class, and must take their own crayons to art each week.
My students are very creative and love to color.
These supplies will allow my students to be able to show their creativity in a variety of ways. They love using watercolors, and many need more practice in how watercolors work. The markers will provide another option during center activities, as well as when doing class art projects.
