My Students

It's much easier to construct when you have the right tools to use.

My students are part of a diverse community where students are given the opportunity to explore and persevere.

My students are eager to learn and they love when lessons are differentiated so they can learn in different settings and by doing different activities other than paper and pencil for note taking.

My Project

My students will create different geometric constructions with the compasses. Students will work together in pairs, individually, and with partners to construct angle bisectors, perpendicular bisectors, centroids, and so forth. Students will toward the end of the year complete projects where they will create any geometric design using only geometry tools.

By funding this project, my students will have the necessary tools to be successful in geometry class.

They will be able to create many constructions using the compasses. Having these compasses will provide each of my students with the equal opportunity to be creative while learning in geometry.
