My students are full of excitement and energy to learn. They are curious about the past, present, and future. The 3rd graders know so much and strive to grow their knowledge. I am so impressed with the questions they ask and their motivation. They are students, friends, a team, and a family. The sky is the limit on what these students can accomplish and learn this school year and throughout their lives. They are lifelong learners that believe in themselves and each other!
My Project
My students are excited and motivated to learn by creating. The third grade students are at a perfect age to imagine a plan, research their ideas, engineer a creation and share their learning with a partner or a small group of friends. My students are highly motivated to build something that they are invested in and have made on their own.
Having access to their own supplies like glue sticks, file folders, markers, magnets, and tubs makes creating, presenting, and displaying their work meaningful.
My students are able to value their work and the supplies it took to create it.
Their work will inevitably create a new wonder and curiosity which leads us to our next adventure in learning.
