I'm excited to be working with 24 kindergarten students with many different needs. This year I'm excited to have the kids back in the classroom. For many of my students, this is the first time in a classroom all day. They are learning so much this year that not only includes academics but also how to interact with their peers socially and emotionally.
This year my students seem to enjoy being artists!
We have been using watercolors to create art each month. I have been using watercolors & paper provided by the school. One day I decided to buy watercolor paper for a Christmas project they were painting. The kids were so proud of their art on this special paper. The other paper wrinkled or if they used too much water it would tear.
With your support, I will be able to supply my students with watercolor paper all year and the upcoming school year. I would also like to purchase some vibrant watercolor crayons. The crayons would allow my students to draw their art. The crayons would help to create more details and bright colors. Having watercolor crayons would also be something I could use for future students. I look forward to being able to provide these supplies to my students. Thank you so much for helping my students explore their artistic side.
