My Students
I'm a first year teacher at a Title 1 school and can't wait to get to know my first grade scholars. I have 25 students looking to grow and learn together throughout the year! First grade is such an important time academically, socially, and emotionally and I feel lucky to be partnering with each student to have a successful year.
My Project
My students are all learning, virtually, at home due to COVID and it's incredibly important for them to have letters to use during this time. These letters will help give my students a sense of creativity and freedom when it comes to making words. The magnetic letters also make it easier for students to hold up their work and show me on our live Google Meet sessions or take a picture of their words using their Chromebooks!
We've been learning all about the importance of words--they shape our world!
