Help me give my students opportunities to learn and grown through amazing picture books! Every picture book in each set is important and can teach a topic, from kindness, to compare and contrast, to special holidays.
My students this year are full of life and thoroughly enjoy being in the classroom. The students come from varying life backgrounds, including students that have just moved from other countries. All of my students learn and experience learning differently. My goal as an educator is to help them discover their own learning style and create an environment that creates success. Students are quick to give compliments and help, showing their care for others.
My students are brought together because they love to learn.
I am lucky to have such a wonderful classroom environment with these students, no matter their varying academic levels. I hope to continue to cultivate a classroom environment where each student is given opportunities and choices!
My Project
Our fifth grade class absolutely loves picture books! Every Friday, our class is captivated by picture books, whether they are on special events, math, reading strategies, or just for fun, we love them all! With these book sets, our class with have picture books for every topic, as well as just for fun.
Through picture books, students are able to grasp concepts, while also using the pictures to connect with the characters.
Students of all levels can access picture books, creating an environment where every student can learn. Not only do students feel more engaged during a lesson with a picture book, but they also tend to remember more of the lesson.
