Powerful, excellence and growth in the visual arts don't just happen. Starting with quality art products can make a strong beginning for my students. As I challenge them to be excellent, they will have the opportunity to use products that will help them attain that goal. The ability to transfer imagination to paper, canvas, and three dimensional objects gives students to open up channels of intelligence they can use in all things.
I believe strongly that art is the foundation to bigger things and, connects us.
What happens in one classroom should connect to the next. In my classroom I encourage students to learn traditional tools that will help them think outside the box. With time they develop more independent thinking and their artwork grows into a reflection of who they are as young adults. It's powerful.
My artists are students that come from sixty-five different countries, speak eighty-five different languages, live in a diverse range of socioeconomic areas and continue to have success in their post high school experiences. I hope you can help in contributing to their success.
My Project
The materials I've selected are a path to my students becoming stronger visual art students. This is the exact thing that will provide them with an avenue to being more creative, and in turn, more productive in all that they do. Confidence to become better and the challenge themselves in ways that they had never imagined.
Children need to have choices just like adults.
In fact, even more so because they are growing and learning foundations that they will carry for the rest of their lives. Encouraging them to try different types of art and using really good products is just one way to get them to flourish. Help me do that.
