"Help us create artwork that is out of this world". The students in my school are in need of new and improved art materials. New art supplies will allow my students to gain exposure to many different types of art media and in turn expand their ability to create outstanding work of art.
The students in my school district live on the outer edge of the city and they have limited access to art museums and artwork seen in the city limits.
In our school we have a diverse setting and I see all students no matter there ability level. New art supplies will allow my students to gain exposure to many different types of art media. The students in my school have had very little exposure to art outside of what we do in the art room, so I want to make sure my students have the most creative and innovative art experience they can while in my classroom.
My Project
The students in my school have had very little exposure to art outside of what we do in the art room, so I want to make sure my students have the most creative and innovative art experience they can while in my classroom. The art supplies I'm purchasing with this money will allow students to create sculptures beyond our current capabilities. This grant would allow my students to create faux glass sculptures and fabric paintings, which they would not be able to make without your help.
My students need new art supplies to create 3-d sculptures for our sculpture class, like wire fabric glue and window paints.
This project will allow my students to have access to supplies that they would never be able to use with our small budget. Students will get to experience the work of Dale Chihuly and then create their very own work of art in his style. The students in my school love to create and by allowing us this opportunity to have access to these supplies my students will be able to stretch their creativity.
