Help me give my students the complete Early Science File Folder Games to add to our individual learning tray activies as well as the architecture builders to promote STEM in our science center.
My students range from 3 to 5 years old. Our students come from low-income homes with a diverse range of cultures and backgrounds, and I also have ESL students. We work hard to close the achievement gap in our area.
Our children love coming to school and being able to let their imaginations shine.
They are amazed by all of the new and interesting things that they are exposed to in our classroom. Our children are below the poverty level and many do not get an opportunity at home to have the many experiences that they can get in our learning environment. With the many backgrounds that our children come from, we want them all to have a strong start in their education.
My children take great pride in their learning. They want to succeed and grow. Some work hard for even the simplest achievements. They feel like they are reaching for the stars and beyond.
My Project
STEM has become a big deal in schools, and with children's natural curiosity on how things go together, come apart, and new ways to build things, these activities will give them the opportunity to do all of them. It will also help teach them scientific inquiry, persistence, problem solving, curiosity and motivation, just to name a few.
There are so many AWE inspiring things in our world for these beautiful new minds!
I want to be able to give them what they need to figure out all of the possibilities they can find in that world. I want to have a safe way to explore, inquire, and motivate them to do and become whatever they want in life.
