This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are curious and creative and take unique paths to learning through problem-solving. Many have special needs and are mostly non-verbal communicators, we focus on their abilities, and STEAM activities are where they shine. My students will need a carpet to explore building with the animal kingdom blocks matching and sorting by classification. They never give up trying to figure out new and creative ways of utilizing building materials and demonstrate their views and understanding by using the adaptive animal head crayons to draw the animal habitats.

Their curiosity is empowered by STEAM activities.

I ask them, “What's next”, We get their attention by building and reassembling creating cause-and-effect activities and they can build independently and find their joy by playing, creating, and collaborating together.
