My Project

Our students are curious, exploring scholars! We want to provide our students the best environment for them to learn and engage with one another. This special education classroom is for kindergarteners and first graders. I am teaming up with our classroom staff to re-vamp the room and create various centers so these children can easily navigate their classroom. Many of the students in this classroom have limited vocabulary so adding visuals to these dividers will help them with communication and language development as well. We plan on using these dividers to create an academic area, a sensory area, a calming space, and a creative space.

Having a safe, happy, calm environment in school is vital in helping our students do their best.

Our students have so many strengths and allowing them a space so they can really shine will be so beneficial to them. Having clear areas for different learning activities will help ease transitions for our students and give them a clear visual which they really benefit from.
