Creating Rigorous Hands-On Literacy and Math Centers: ChromeBooks
My students need two Acer ChromeBooks to enhance our hands-on learning in literacy and math centers every day! These ChromeBooks will open the doors to endless learning possibilities for my kindergarten students.
The eighteen kindergartners that I have had the privilege of teaching for the past semester have already made my life so much brighter! Each of my students brings love, joy, and enthusiasm to me and their peers everyday. This class is very special to me already for a few reasons: 1- they have a drive to learn new things, 2- they deeply love and care for each other, 3- they make me smile all day long. I couldn't ask for a better group of kindergartners to share my classroom with!
My Project
Adding two ChromeBooks to our classroom will greatly increase the learning experiences and opportunities for my kindergarten students. As you already know, this young generation is highly motivated by technology. Why not capitalize on this and incorporate valuable learning moments through ChromeBooks?!
I truly believe that I can move my students further, boost my students' confidence level, and explore content areas deeper through the use of these ChromeBooks.
When students feel successful and in charge of their learning, they are more likely to have a better attitude towards school and learning. I want to empower my students by giving them a variety of learning tools to explore.
