Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are the best kids a teacher can ask for. They are full of curiosity, courage, and hope. They do not let anything stop them from their goals. They love to learn, and they work very hard.
This year has been a hard year for my students as many of them were impacted by Hurricane Harvey.
Some of them are homeless and have left all their belongings behind. Regarding the circumstances, those kids manage to come to class every day with a smile on their faces willing to do their best.
My Project
Reading is like food to our brains. I want to motivate my students to read, read and read. I want them to not only read, but love reading. The kids kindles have a plan where the students can access free ebooks and I think that will motivate my students to read. It will reward my students by giving them an interactive learning opportunity.
Reading will not only lead them to success in school, but in their entire life.
I want to feed my students brains with so much knowledge that is inside the books. The stories they read can take them to so much places, not only in their minds but in their life.
