Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I love how my students are seeking to try their best to apply what they are learning in their art. I would like my students to become acquainted with the artists of history and learn the different art styles, so they can apply what they have learned when making art of their own.
It's important for students to know the artists of the past and how their work has evolved into the art it is today and maybe one day their names will be added to the Great Artists of History.
My students can tell what is good quality items and I would like for them to experience the "feel" of using good quality things and what a difference they can make in their artwork. Sometimes there aren't enough supplies for my students to work on their projects at the same time and now with the items, I selected there will be enough to go around for everyone.
