I teach second grade and my class desperately needs exciting and fun books that will get them reading! I am a new teacher with little money who needs books to inspire students to develop a love for reading and learning. The books I have chosen are of high interest to my grade level and will encourage students to read more. The books needed for my classroom will help students to develop a life long love of reading and learning by focusing on topics that are relevant and pertinent to their age and grade. Most of the books chosen are nonfiction science based books that will help students to learn and discover more about the world around them. Your help will ensure that my students cultivate a desire and love of learning that will not only help them now but throughout the rest of their lives. My students need 6 different sets of leveled nonfiction books from Lakeshore Learning, and books bins to display the books in and keep them in good condition for years to come. I have also requested 7 additional books that are of high interest to my students. Thank you for your consideration!
